Unterricht der etwas anderen Art: Am 18.10.22 erhielt Staatsminister Markus Blume, zuständig für Wissenschaft und Kunst (und damit auch für die Berufsfachschulen in Bayern) eine medial begleitete Unterrichtseinheit am Drumset 🙂 Hintergrund sind die Kampagnen INSTRUMENT DES JAHRES: DRUMSET des Deutschen Musikrates (mit meiner Wenigkeit als Schirmherr) sowie #machmusik des Ministeriums.
Das Ganze fand in den Räumen der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in München statt, zu Gast waren neben zahlreichen Vertretern der Presse auch die neue Präsidenten der Hochschule, Prof. Lydia Grün, und Dr. Thomas Goppel als Repräsentant des Bayerischen Musikrates. Selbstverständlich wurde der Minister auch mit einem Paar Signature Sticks sowie einem Exemplar DAILY DRUMSET WORKOUT versorgt. Einfach *dranbleiben” hilft ja bestimmt auch in der Politik 🙂 Super auf jeden Fall, daß mit dem Drumset auch endlich ein Instrument aus dem Sektor Popularmusik eine entsprechende Würdigung erfährt – und das nun sogar mit ministerialem Segen!

Lessons of a different kind: Secretary Markus Blume, responsible for science and arts (and hence also for the music colleges in Bavaria) took a drum lesson! The initial spark behind that was the campaign INSTRUMENT OF THE YEAR: DRUMSET – for which yours truly is the patron. The event was hosted by the University for Music and Theater, Munich and president Prof. Lydia Grün. Dr. Thomas Goppel represented the Bayerischer Musikrat. Of course minister Blume is now properly equipped with a pair of Claus Hessler Signature Sticks as well as a copy of DAILY DRUMSET WORKOUT. I assume staying on course is for sure also a helpful feature in politics 🙂 Anyhow, great to see the drumset receiving that sort of attention – well deserved!
